Psychosocial Recovery

For people with a psychosocial disability under the NDIS, you should have funding for a Recovery Coach included in your plan. ROS offers many years of experience through our Team of qualified and lived experience mentors, counsellors and recovery coaches.

With ROS we focus on a holistic person centred approach. We want to understand you and know what you want, ensuring you are in control of your individual recovery journey at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

2

Support Coordination

Support coordination helps you to make the best use of your support in plan. Support coordination is a capacity building support which helps you to: understand and use your NDIS plan to pursue your goals and connect you with NDIS providers, as well as with community, mainstream and other government services.

With ROS we focus on getting the most out of your plan by empowering your choice and control over your providers. We provide options, and explanations and insight into the industry so you can make informed decisions about your services.

Indepedent Livging Options U

Individualised living options (ILO) is support to live the way that suits you. ILO funding does not pay for a house! But instead, explore different ways to live – with a host or housemate and control over the design your supports to help you live the way you choose.

There are lots of choices with ILO. You can share your home with housemates or live in a host's home.

The purpose of ILO is for you to live in a way that best suits you.  At ROS we are all about the person first, we want to find a way for you to live life on your terms.

Skill Development / Therapy Assistant

At ROS we try to keep those boundaries clear, and sometimes our clients need that little extra help with skill development that's a little outside of a Support Coordinator, or PRCS direct role.

These areas are usually identified by a therapist, such as a occupational therapist. A example would be Public Transports training, bill and budgeting, or other training overseen or advised by a treating therapist.

Often the treating therapist or origination can provide this service. However without the use of therapy assistants this is often not cost effective, and better implemented by therapy assistants.
