PSYCHOSOCIAL RECOVERY
WHAT IS
PSYCHOSOCIAL DISABILITY?
Psychosocial disability refers to the experience of mental health conditions that impact a person’s ability to participate in everyday life. These experiences can make things like socialising, finding work, or managing daily routines more difficult — but with the right support, recovery is possible.
If you’re an NDIS participant with a psychosocial disability, your plan should include funding for a Recovery Coach. That’s where we come in.
How It Fits Into Your NDIS Plan
Recovery Coaching is typically included under Capacity Building – Support Coordination in your NDIS plan. We help you understand how your funding works, and how coaching can support your broader goals like independence, social connection, or returning to work.
