JOIN THE TEAM

Make a real difference with a creative, heart-driven team. At Recovery Oriented Services (ROS), we’re not your average support provider – and we don’t want to be! We believe in doing things differently. Our small-but-growing team is creative, heart-driven, and completely person-centred in our approach. If you’re passionate about empowering others and want to work in a place where Dungeons & Dragons can be therapy and everyone’s ideas matter, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
Why Work With ROS?
Joining ROS means joining a family of innovators and advocates. We are a fully independent, WA-owned organization leading the way in psychosocial support. Every day, our team members help people take steps forward on their recovery journey – and have fun while doing it! Here’s what makes our culture special:
Person-Centred and Heart-Driven
We put people first, always. Whether it’s a participant or a colleague, we listen with empathy and lead with our hearts. “How can this better you?” is the question at the core of everything we do.
Creative Approaches
We love trying new ideas to engage and support our participants. (Yes, we really do run a “Fun with Dice” program – a weekly Dungeons & Dragons therapy group that builds social skills and confidence in a totally unique way!). Our culture encourages thinking outside the box and having fun while making a difference.
Real Impact
Working here, you’ll see firsthand how your effort changes lives. Whether you’re helping someone learn to use public transport independently or guiding them through an epic D&D quest that boosts their self-esteem, you’ll go home knowing “I helped someone achieve something great today.”
We are loud and proud about our mission: to support recovery in a way that is genuine, inclusive, and sometimes even a little quirky. If you’ve been craving a workplace where you can truly be yourself and do meaningful work, ROS is the place to be.
OUR VALUES
Our core values aren’t just buzzwords – they’re lived every day by our team
PASSION
We have a genuine love for what we do. Our team brings energy and enthusiasm to every coaching session, group activity, and team meeting
DEDICATION
We go the extra mile for our participants and for each other. Being a small team means everyone pitches in.
ADVOCACY
We stand up for the people we support. ROS team members are champions for our participants, helping them navigate the NDIS.
RECOVERY
We believe in every individual’s ability to grow, heal, and achieve their goals. Our entire approach is recovery-oriented – focused on strengths, hope, and moving forward

CURRENT OPPORTUNITES
Psychosocial Recovery Coach
As a Recovery Coach at ROS, you’ll mentor and guide NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities (mental health conditions) on their recovery journey. You’ll work one-on-one to build capacity, set goals, develop strategies, and connect participants with the right supports. It’s a dynamic role for someone who is empathetic, organized, and loves problem-solving to help others thrive.
Support Worker (Mental Health / Psychosocial)
As a Support Worker, you’ll work directly with participants to assist in daily living skills, community access, and personal growth activities. This could mean helping someone practice cooking a meal, accompanying them to a social event, or even joining in our next therapeutic gaming session. If you’re patient, reliable, and great at encouraging people to push their boundaries (in a good way!), this role is for you.
READY TO JOIN THE ADVENTURE?
Does all this sound like your kind of workplace? If you’re nodding along (and maybe already thinking of what character you’d play in our next D&D session, what deck to build or what board game your should kickstart), then we want to hear from you! But most importantly, do you want to help people, not just for the money but because it matters!
How to Apply: It’s easy. Just send us a brief cover letter telling us about yourself and why you’d love to join ROS, along with your resume, to support@ros.contact. Make sure to include what role you’re interested in (Recovery Coach, Support Worker, or other) in your email.
Next Steps: Our team will review your application, and if it looks like a match, we’ll be in touch to arrange a chat. (Even if you’re not sure you meet every criteria, reach out anyway – a great attitude and willingness to learn can be more valuable than a perfect CV!)
Join us and turn your passion into real-world impact. Together, we’ll empower lives, support recovery, and maybe slay a few metaphorical dragons along the way. Welcome to the ROS family!
