COUNSELLING SUPPORT
INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY
WHAT IS COUNSELLING SUPPORT?
Counselling is a therapeutic service designed to help individuals navigate life's challenges, particularly those related to mental health and daily living. Whether you're managing anxiety, stress, or seeking strategies to cope with the complexities of disability, our counselling services offer a safe and supportive environment to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Our counselling support is available to all clients, including those not engaged in Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, providing an additional layer of support tailored to your unique needs.
OUR COUNSELLING SERVICES
1:1 Counselling Sessions
Personalised Support: Engage in one-on-one sessions with our qualified counsellors to address specific concerns, develop coping strategies, and work towards your personal goals.
Flexible Delivery: Sessions are available in-person or via telehealth platforms like Zoom or Skype, ensuring accessibility regardless of your location or preference.
Group Therapy Sessions
Shared Experiences: Participate in group sessions that foster connection, understanding, and shared learning among individuals facing similar challenges.
Skill Development: Group therapy provides opportunities to develop social skills, build resilience, and gain diverse perspectives in a supportive setting.

HOW COUNSELLING FITS INTO YOUR NDIS PLAN
Counselling services can be funded under the NDIS, typically within the Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living category. These supports aim to enhance your ability to manage daily tasks, improve interpersonal relationships, and increase community participation.
To include counselling in your NDIS plan:
Set Relevant Goals: Ensure your plan outlines goals related to mental health, emotional well-being, or daily living skills.
Discuss with Your Planner: Talk to your NDIS planner or support coordinator about incorporating counselling services that align with your objectives.
For more detailed information on accessing mental health supports through the NDIS, you can refer to the official NDIS guidelines .
