We want to help you the way you want to be helped to achieve your dreams and goals. Its not about ticking boxes for us. Its about making progress along your journey. We want you not to see it written in paper but to feel it in your core.
Upholding YOUR rights, Dignity and Safety
At Recovery Oriented Services (RoS), we believe in creating a supportive and empowering partnership with each person we work alongside. This Welcome Information Pack has been designed to help you understand your rights, our responsibilities, and the important policies that guide our services. We are a values-based NDIS provider committed to the principles of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework, and everything we do is shaped by the following core commitments.

Our Core Values and Service Principles
1. Safety and Safeguarding First
We take your safety seriously. Our team is trained to prevent and respond to all forms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. We have clear processes in place to:
-
Recognise and report harm or incidents
-
Involve the NDIS Commission when needed
-
Provide you with support and advocacy during complaints or incidents
2. Choice, Control and Dignity of Risk
We will always support your right to make your own decisions—even if there’s risk involved. You are allowed to try new things, make mistakes, and learn. If we think something could put you or others at serious risk, we will talk with you and explore safer ways to support your choices.
3. Respect for Privacy and Confidentiality
We are trusted with your personal information and are committed to keeping it private, secure, and only used for your benefit. We follow privacy laws and will never share your information without your consent unless the law requires it to keep you safe.
4. Consent and Self-Determination
You have the right to decide who speaks on your behalf, who can access your information, and when that can change. Our approach to consent is informed, voluntary, current, and specific, aligned with NDIS policy. If you need support to make decisions, we will help—but never force.
5. Advocacy and Voice
Your voice matters. You are always encouraged to speak up, ask for what you need, or have someone support you to do so. We will help you find or work with an advocate and make sure your concerns are heard and acted on fairly.
6. Clear Entry, Exit, and Transitions
We make starting, finishing, or changing services easy to understand. We will support you through every stage of your journey with us and help create a transition plan that matches your goals and needs if you decide to move on.
7. Welcoming Children, Families and Representatives
When working with children or young people, we recognise the role of child representatives and involve them in line with the child’s best interests, preferences, and NDIS guidelines.
Why This Matters? Because you matter!
These policies and principles aren’t just rules—they are commitments we’ve made to you. They help ensure:
-
Your rights are always respected
-
You understand the services you’re receiving
-
You know how to raise questions or concerns
-
We stay compliant with NDIS Quality and Safeguards expectations
You deserve support that is safe, empowering, respectful, and truly focused on your personal journey. That’s what RoS stands for—and we’re honoured to walk this path with you.
